The men get to hunt, with a collection of sporty male jewelry — a first aimed at men from the august house of Garrard.

The women are the birds — in an aviary-inspired collection from Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, in collaboration with Stephen Webster, Garrard’s creative director.

Mr. Webster, whose mission is to spice up the traditional jeweler, has used dark colors, as in a ring with a glowing African ruby gripped by staghorns of black diamonds, to reinforce the male power. Other unusual gems, like blood stones and green sapphires, give an upscale, country feel to bracelets, pendants and more traditional cufflinks. For Ms. Chapman, her fascination with feathers inspired jewels that are colorful, delicate and tinged with Hollywood glamour.
